Dean White leaving Chadron State

Dr. Gary White, Chadron State College dean of business, entrepreneurship, applied science, mathematics, and science, is leaving his position at CSC effective Aug. 15.

“Dr. White has served as an academic dean for the past four and one-half years and has been a major influence in the rebuilding of the CSC rodeo team, the planning for the Rangeland Agricultural Center and Pavilion, globalization initiatives in Eastern Europe, Russia, and the Ukraine, the Junior Faculty Development Program and IREX international students program,” said CSC President Janie Park in an e-mail to CSC employees. “The college thanks Dr. White for his service and wishes him well in his future pursuits.”

White was hired in summer 2006 as one of three deans at CSC. Prior to CSC, he was employed at Dickinson State University in North Dakota for 13 years, including 11 as chair of the Department of Agriculture and Technical Studies.
