Animal Planet's Jeff Corwin coming to CSC

Jeff Corwin, one of television’s most widely recognized stars of natural history and conservation, will present a show at Chadron State College’s Memorial Hall on Tuesday, Feb. 1, at 7 p.m.

Corwin's presentation is part of CSC's Galaxy Series of fine arts and cultural events. A number of exotic animals, most or all of which are reptiles, also will appear in the presentation, titled “Tales from the Field with Jeff Corwin.”

Many know Corwin through television as the host of many popular shows which are viewed in 120 countries, including Animal Planet’s “Jeff Corwin Experience,” “Giant Monsters,” “Realm of the Yeti,” “Corwin’s Quest,” “Spring Watch USA” and “King of the Jungle.” NBC’s “Jeff Corwin Unleashed” was nominated four times for an Emmy and won an Emmy for outstanding host. He’s also hosted shows for Disney, the Travel Channel, the Discovery Health Channel and CNN, and Men’s Journal magazine honored him as the world’s greatest host of a natural history series.
